\n Endodontics <\/strong> deals with the treatment of the inflamed tooth root. If the pulp, the so-called pulp, is inflamed or has already died, in most cases only root canal treatment <\/strong> can help. The pulp must be completely removed and the resulting cavity sealed with a filling that is bacteria-proof.
\n Inflammation of the tooth pulp <\/strong> manifests itself through various symptoms – including pain when biting, unpleasant feelings of pressure or pain due to pronounced warm-cold sensitivity. If the patient feels severe pain during a cold test, there is a high probability that the pulp is inflamed.<\/p>\n

Root canal treatment at T7 in Berlin<\/h2>\n

The chances of success with a root canal treatment are high, but require special care and technique on the part of the treating dentist. At T7 we use Zeiss loupes <\/strong> during the operation, which are particularly suitable for root canal treatment. This enables us to reliably record all the root canals that are present in the diseased tooth. The aim of the treatment is to completely remove the inflamed pulp, mechanically expand the root canals in order to remove bacterial residues on the canal walls and then close it with a bacteria-proof root filling <\/strong>.<\/p>\n
